La Casa

Our house, the pink one on Gibbsboro Road

You cannot miss it: a vibrant pink house with blue trim, a blue arch over the door, and the family's hope written across it. Esperanza means hope.

The Cordova family came from Puebla and opened La Esperanza in 2002, the family's first business: traditional Mexican dishes and other Latin American specialties, home cooked.

Philadelphia magazine's Best of Philly, Mexican restaurants, 2003, as the restaurant tells it.

The house in the logo

The little house drawn on the badge is the first house the family ever owned in Mexico. It still stands, empty now, on the side of a small mountain, where the brothers and sisters took their first steps and where the family began to have hope. That is why the logo says Mi casa es su casa: our house is your house.
